Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Glassy 27 – OS Launcher ("the App", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the App. It also explains the rights available to you under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA). By installing or using Glassy 27, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We do not directly collect your name, email address, phone number, physical address, contacts/phonebook, camera access, or social media login information — the App does not ask for or store any of these. The only device data involved is your location, used solely to look up weather conditions, plus the advertising and purchase identifiers described above that are handled entirely by Google. We do not use analytics or crash-reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics), and we do not send marketing emails.

Third-Party Services

• Google AdMob / Google Ads — displays ads in the App and may collect advertising identifiers, device information, and approximate location for ad delivery and measurement. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Billing — processes the one-time Pro tier purchase. Payment details are handled entirely by Google and are never seen by us.
• Open-Meteo (api.open-meteo.com) — your device's coordinates are sent directly to Open-Meteo's forecast endpoint to retrieve current temperature, daylight status, weather condition, and hourly/daily forecasts for the Weather widget. Open-Meteo states that it does not collect, store, or share any personal data, usage statistics, or identifying information from API requests, and does not use cookies or tracking. We do not use remarketing/retargeting advertising, tracking pixels, invisible CAPTCHA services, or any customer-support/chat widgets that collect personal data.

Permissions the App Requests

• Location (GPS): only used when the Weather widget is active; you can deny this and use the App without weather data.
• Internet access: required to load ads, verify purchases, and fetch weather data.
• Query installed apps: required for any Android launcher to display and organize your apps — standard for this category of app.

Data Sharing and Sale

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the third-party services listed above, strictly to provide the features described (ads, purchases, weather).

Your Rights Under CCPA / CPRA (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose;
• Request deletion of personal information we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate personal information;
• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising outside of the ad-serving described above;
• Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.

Your Rights Under GDPR (EU / EEA / UK Users)

If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom, we process your data (location, advertising ID, purchase confirmation) on the basis of your consent and/or our legitimate interest in operating and monetizing the App. You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Request rectification or erasure of your data;
• Restrict or object to processing;
• Data portability, where technically feasible;
• Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. by denying location permission);
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

Because most data described in this policy is processed directly by Google (AdMob, Play Billing) rather than stored on our own servers, many of these requests are best directed to Google's own privacy controls in addition to contacting us.

CalOPPA Compliance

• This policy is publicly accessible at the URL where it is hosted, as required by CalOPPA.
• We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as there is no industry-standard mechanism for mobile apps to recognize them.
• Users will be notified of material changes to this policy via an updated "Last updated" date on this page.
• Users may review and request correction of their information by contacting us below.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Glassy 27 is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

Data Retention & Deletion

Your app list, layout, and widget preferences are stored locally on your device — uninstalling Glassy 27 removes this data. Location requests are made in real time and are not retained by us. To request deletion of any purchase or advertising data associated with your Google account, contact Google directly or reach out to us below.

International Data Transfers

Where data is processed by Google (AdMob, Play Billing), it may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, under Google's own safeguards and privacy policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date at the top.
